Ocean Raft Alaska was founded in 2010 by three Alaskan friends who love the ocean and the great outdoors. While living in the neighboring town of Haines, they would often take their 20ft skiff to Skagway to explore the Fjord and visit friends. They quickly realized that this stretch of water was special and thought it would be a great opportunity to be able to share this amazing fjord to visitors.

We love the rugged wilderness of Southeast Alaska. As Alaskans, we appreciate the raw un-spoiled beauty of our backyard and truly enjoy showing it off to our guests. Every day, we get to enjoy viewing wildlife in their natural habitat, admire massive waterfalls within an arms-length distance, and marvel at the glaciers and mountains that surround us.

 

Our Captains and Naturalists love to convey how lucky they are to live in such an awe-inspiring region.
